I don't mind them in black, but they work better in the standard silver finish IMO.

Do you know if 8.5 +45 legal in QLD?
I think technically no as there would be some slight poke on the front - rear should be flush, although we are talking a few mm on a Euro car.. you'd be unlucky to be done. Any lowering that tucked the wheels even a fraction would probably see it safe.

However I'll leave it to the x 8.5 guys to comment further?

Hey Dutch, errybody. Has anyone seen a mk7 on 3SDM 0.05's? Might sound naff but I've always been a fan of those wheels.

I've installed the KW DDC as well, but still playing with the ride height so I'll post some pics once all sorted.

Looking good, I think. I suspect these wheels will give off different looks depending on the light, guessing they'll pop with sunlight. Therefore I expect more pics. Or I will check it out when I am back in Adelaide.

Look forward to your KW adjustments, I'm guessing you're currently set at something akin to stock height or a touch under in those pics.

Geez mate, only a couple of pages back.

I have a bit of love for them as well, they're cool and old school but not something I'd run myself - they're definitely suited to the show/stance scene and I think will only work well on a significantly lowered car, but open to being proven wrong. I have kept an eye out for a while but so far only that rear three quarter view came up.

Better post a wheel tonight, let's have another review of Talladegas:

Yeah, that Rays Blue/Grey is something different. I thought that I would have a problem with it but I like it.
With KW, I've set it at highest possible setting and waiting for the springs to settle before making any adjustments (rears are a pain to adjust). Ride quality hasn't suffered much, if at all. Its a bit firmer but put in comfort and you're cruising with no issues at all.
Put it in race mode and its like a go kart, wow what a difference in handling and the car actually turns in like a go kart.

Install was piss easy, took me 4hrs by my self.

So, STOP thinking about it and just do some creative accounting (so that wife doesn't know) and get your self KW DDC.

Just realised I've never contributed to this thread. This is mine on 19x8.5 OZ Racing Ultraleggeras ET45 in satin black. Lowered on KW DDC. I've ordered new wheels but this is the set-up I am running now.
