Considering you know your **** @Dutch77. When you lower GTI's are they the same as with any other car and auto create some camber? I am looking at 18x9 +32 at the front and 18x9 +15 at the rears, I know they will stick out, but I like don't mind the look I had it with my S15 a few years back, but the rears cambered in hard once I put coilovers on and lowered the car. They were 18x10 +5 on the rears on the S15 and fit under the guards with very minimal rolling. I will stretch some 235s on the wheels as well to help fit.

Hey mate, I'm probably more full of the asterix's than knowing it, but I believe that you will get a very small amount of camber automatically (but please anyone else chip in and correct - last Golf I lowered was my Mk6 and that was on VWRs ~ 20-25mm drop), but we are talking a few degrees absolute max? i.e. nothing you'd really pick up on visually.

What a lot of the guys who have got the more extreme fitments do (apart from guard rolling or widebody kits) is fitting camber kits which will aid in that process, and they may also look at control arms which can achieve some as well.

Hopefully someone who really does know their **** can chip in here, or post up in the suspension area as well.. I don't want to send you down the wrong path.
