Anyone seen a GTI with 18" Omanyts? I bought a set a few months back, turns out 1 of them isnt round, tossing up wether to fit them or not. The wheels are presently at my parents place in a different state so can't just sit them next to the car.
I haven't seen a Mk7 yet with Omanyts (and trust me, I've seen a few) but I'm pretty confident they'd come up looking good. They wouldn't be that dissimilar in look to the Lombarthos a few posts up, at least from a distance and I reckon they look pretty smart. We can always do a quick photo edit tomorrow for giggles..
I think they'd suit, although they're not that exciting. I have Omanyts on my Mk6 GTI.

I never really got Omanyts at first but over time I've grown to love them - they're one of VWs best wheels and should be still used as a premium sports/luxury wheel in the range - Golfs and Tiguans particularly.
Here is a bad photo chop - I picked a wheel in sunshine which made it look white on the source car, so then fiddled with things to try and contrast it a little (yes I really need a photoshop program). Anyway it gives the basic idea which I think works fine:

Is it just me or do Superturismo's suit every VW they go on!?
