I think the whole black hood thing is over, but agreed it may blend in a little more if it had been body colored. Still a tad too aggressive/overdone for me though.

Looking as sweet as usual.. looks good with the extra rubber in the sidewall too, and no doubt more comfortable.

R Wagon was certainly on my radar before I left the VAG family.
