At least in NZ they have a slightly more 'exotic' name in Brescia.
It is time for OEM to stop dishing up machine cut. I am so over it, and agree for a special limited edition car, surely more effort could be put into wheel selection given the importance the wheels play in the overall look of the car (this thread illustrates the importance of wheels)

it is VW De original name used in Europe (not sure why VW Au changed name ... maybe because we don't have other wheels options)

+1. Given it's a 'Clubsport' model it should have been fitted with the lighter weight Pretorias.

So if I was in the market for one (and I still don't think I could live with that front look) I'd be teaming the white with black roof combo with Shauno's black Pretorias for the complete finished, and OEM, look.

Cheers - I should have checked that. VW Au has a habit of randomly changing wheel names so can sometimes be hard to work out what's what. I had to go back to the brochure and re-check I'd read the name right as a search of VW Ruby certainly doesn't flick up that wheel (unless google has sensibly filtered away from our poor eyes).

    With today's dollar I don't think you'll get much change from $7k.

If I was spending on that budget I'd still be all over one of my all time favourites, the straight LM.
