    I think price will make me dislike them - they're the sort of wheel I'd select as an OEM option but not as an expensive after market option.. which I will hazard a guess they will be (although the original VWR wheels which now seem to be named 'Cup Edition' weren't stupidly priced - although the TD option was cheaper).

    Closest 'off the cuff' comparison I could find was an ordinary photoshop of MSW wheels (by OZ) onto to a Mk7 as follows:

    Not really a help, but LSG is one color where I do rate the black wheels, or silver. A diamond cut or grey finish is highly unlikely to look the goods.

    I have an update on pricing;

    $2895 for the set 19 x 8.5 in the grey
    $3295 for the set 19 x 8.5 in the diamond cut

    That's pushing to close to well respected branded 19 inch wheel sets.

    As above, hanging out with a Mk7 bud; the OZ shod R is definitely a good example of clean upgrades:

    I think the details of the wheels get lost because of the colour when seen from far.

    Always a problem/risk with black rims, especially one as nice as the HLT. The black rims (and Audi RS calipers) are sexy times, but I would've gone with a titanium finish against the red personally - as Dutch has done in the past.

    Agree - there aren't many black wheels I'd run, although the Ultraleggera is one. But not on the S3 - perhaps a Mk8 Golf.
