Hmm, it can work but I'm not feeling it. Especially on a Euro.
The Octavia is an outsider on my shopping list so will be keen to see what you do.
It's such a Jap thing. And I say that with no sarcasm or mocking, it just is.
I can think of the (Australian) Skyline specials finished in red with white wheel combos that caught my eye as a young'un.
Was it the VMR label on the promo pic that gave it away?
There are local dealers now in Australia so getting your hands on a set here isn't hard, and they are priced well. I believe their quality is ok these days - they're definitely better than the cheap crap the dodgy dealers sell in their rep collections here. I think the only main criticism now is that the paint finishes aren't to good at holding up to chips etc. which would become an issue on white.
Looking good, pics on the car though!
Not really liking these so much in any case, but aren't these 19s?

Thanks for comments. Its my work car so I thought white wheels would work well with white logo, see above with stock silver 18". Octavia vRS should be on every Golf drivers short list
White wheels + stock brake pads = epic fail

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

I see where you're going with that, although a set of anthracite VMRs would be my choice.
As for the vRS I agree - if I had my time over again I'd be all over it in wagon. Better spec, better warranty, better flexibility and arguably a better interior design = win, and as for Skoda's woeful resale, hot tip: VWs aren't much better. And as my next ride is a long term proposition then the resale becomes less an issue.
If they could get the R/S3 underpinnings and sell it for 50k I'd be even more over it.
Anyway, Golf wheels.. I don't like the design but anthracite on blue works, I'm telling ya.. (Ref BBS)
