thanks ...
and you would be amazed to know how many locally made models we have here, plenty of options in terms of replicas, and this is the reason why I still haven't purchased the wheels
also, they are tested by the Inmetro, the Brasilian TUV, and this reassures the quality, much safer than buying a chinese or italian unmarked replica

I would be surprised if I hadn't spent so much time searching out wheels from all corners of the globe..
(actually I was surprised the first time I came across the Brazilian sites as to how many Golfs are being modded there and the wheel ranges)
Good to know that you guys have some decent testing in place; our market is still a little too flooded with stock of dubious quality - sold by newer businesses with less than sterling reputations for customer service.

love them^^^^ Weight would be interesting.

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
I agree, they're a clean design.
Sadly it appears they may have been discontinued. The 18 x 8 supposedly weighs 19.6lbs/8.9kg according to Tirerack, who also advise that Enkei's MAT technology was licensed to assist in the production of the wheel.
FWIW they do have some nice replica style designs in the range though and are pretty sharply priced.

the latest replica available on the market is an 18" version of the "Madrid" original wheel
it's 18 x 7, ET 42, so it fits well, poking less than 0,5" out
a request for Dutch and other forum members
if it's not asking too much, would you mind to give your opinion about this Audi wheel
8U0 601 025 C
18 x 7 ET 43
it's the original wheel fitted in some Q3
and I found a set of these, reasonably priced, the seller will reserve it only until next week
I am asking for some opinions 'cause all this search got me tired, 3 months searching, making photo montages, and still, no choice has been made
thanks in advance

Would definitely have an OEM feel to it, the design is fairly clean.
Golfs tend to go to x 7.5 when they hit 18s but I don't see any issues? Will sit at identical poke to a stock GTI Austin, with 12mm more inner clearance.
