Apparently it's hard to match the tint of the back with the front. Do you notice a big difference in your car?

The only person who has rung me is the "delivery coordinator" who only tried pushing the whole paint protection and tint. When asked about delivery times, I was given the generic "about 3-4 weeks from now". This happened yesterday and I highly doubt she has a clue.

My car was unloaded in Brisbane on the 28th of July, and was moved out of the docks on 31st of July. I'm assuming I'm up for first shipment. Trying to call the dealer but no answer. I'm time poor so this is frustrating.

Sounds dubious. If your vehicle has been allocated (ie. they can supply you with a VIN), then they can supply you with at least an estimated, but specific delivery date.

I would start by asking for the VIN for your car. If they can't give it to you, I would suggest that they haven't got a car allocated to you (this is a problem!). If they do give you the VIN, then suggest if this car is allocated to you and is in the country, they should be able to supply a solid delivery date as well.

That is an unusual situation for them to have accepted the order, but not given you a specific (albeit estimated) delivery date.

It's a mandatory requirement (in the leasing world at least, though they're buying the same cars that you are!) that when a dealer accepts an order the estimated delivery date must be confirmed as well. Put some more pressure on them - but still be as courteous as possible though.

I've had the same issue with my Wolfsburg, they don't have the official release date from VW that they can give the cars out from so they can only say "around x date". Having said that mine is still on the boat so I won't be looking at getting it until late next month. For reference I have a VIN number assigned, but no delivery date written on my order form.
