Here's an up date as promised, it's taken 3 weeks 2 emails and 4 calls for a response but the dealer has apologised for the giving me a car without doing a pre-delivery check and the presentation of the car. They are also removing the tinting which cost $450 for 2 windows and did not match the back windows and has started to bubble. They even offered to touch up the chip I hope it's not too noticeable but the white undercoat on the dark blue is very noticeable so it should be better than that. The car was filthy inside and they said they would give it a full detail. Unfortunately I didn't get into the car until after it was dark and it was out side, also after over 3 hours at the dealer all I wanted to do was go home not check the acr out further it wasn't until the next day that I saw how bad it was in side.
they are keeping for 3 days to clear the Control unit faults and detail it and giving me a loan car. If the do the job right that should have been done right in the first place, then even after all my effort and wasted time I will be satisfied.
It did kill the excitement of getting a new car but perhaps I can pretend this is the delivery and I had an extended test drive for 3 weeks .
I will post delivery results when I get the car back.
^ Sounds like a fair outcome/compromise at this stage Salrom, that certainly sounds better than what I would have guessed was going to ultimately happen.. ie nothing. Assuming they keep their end of the bargain combined with the apology then that's a small win.

Definitely the photos of my car. Was on the lot... purchase was centred around wanting Bi-Xenons. Photo taken on a sunny day hence the glare. The alcantara has two slightly different tones between the bolsters and the inserts.
