I bet they don't have what I want. Most of the cars are standard form.
We ordered on the 4th October last year and there was nothing in our spec in the country or on the water.
A lot of people wanting options are in the same boat as me, wait 5 months or buy standard.

What did you pay for that one veeeyaar?
got a new MY14 golf with traffic, supposedly, ie. thats what the dealer said when he introduced the car.
when I press traffic, a traffic screen comes up but shows no warnings.
just wondering if its because there are actually no warnings or if its not working.
what happens when you guys who don't have traffic press it? and what about those of you do have it?
try again after say 20 mins drive.
mine didnt come with it, after my friend enabled it for me it came up after 20 mins or so.
it should have warnings in it, i havent looked at how far can it show but i tried to scroll down the list and it keeps updating.
EDIT: also make sure RDS and TP are enabled in settings. you should be able to see 'TP' on top of the centre display once enabled.
but even if you can see TP, you may still not able to retrieve traffic information, then thats due to coding.

I just checked my New Zealand MY 2014 (Oct 13 build) 103 Highline and Traffic (TP) is working . No tweaking/VCDS required, just working out of the box. It alerted me to several sets of roadworks and delays around Christchurch, NZ. I'm pleasantly surprised to find this functioning.
ordered a white GTI Performance Pack in early january - papers say it's due in mid may, but would most likely be here earlier.
upgrade from a 2003 Golf Mk4 Generation 2.0.
When I first purchased the new golf I was told it was at the holding yard and could expect around ten working days for a pick up date. 10 days come and went and now I have a confirmed date that will take it to 20 working days.
Im not not concerned about the time, I can wait till next Friday no worries. I'm concerned that the car might be have been damaged or requiring work of some kind. The dealer explained the delay is due to back log of work after Christmas. Does this sound reasonable or should I be concerned?
