Thinking of ordering a TSI 92 Comfortline, not sure if I should go Wagon or Hatch....sure Wagon has loads more boot space but Hatch looks so much better and I don't know if 2k for 30 cms more length is worth it.... Also worried about the resale and interest on the Wagon because this country seems to be SUV crazy whereas Europe is all about Wagons (or Tourers as they call them). Thoughts?
Also, have had a reflex silver GOLF hatch and want to change to a different colour. In terms of looks and /or resale what does everyone think comparing white/pacific blue and limestone grey? I would go for Red but the Sunset Metallic is just yukkkkk! Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers.

yeah i would go the hatch & any of those 3 colours are the pick of the bunch. condition & km's are what determines resale.
getting the extended warranty will really help resale too if you intend on keeping after 3 years

I'm still trying, but its come down to not having the colour in W.A that I want & the dealer wanting to add transport co$$$ts to the deal.
Still got 1.5 weeks to thrash out a deal but I dont think I will get what I want

Wagon if you'll ever need the extra space, it's a huge boot esp. with the false floor dropped.

offer has been sent to the dealer-
    2016 R in grey
    dsg
    5 year factory warranty
wish me luck, cause I'm not budging on price!

colour has turned out to be the real issue though - trying to get the colour I want and not paying for interstate delivery has been hard going.

Picked-up my MY16 GTI Performance (with Driver Assistance Pack) about a month ago and absolutely loving every minute of driving it. It really is a Swiss Army Knife on wheels... A big change for me as I'm coming from a MY12.5 77TSI Polo! Having said that, I still love the 77TSI - It's such a cracker of an engine!

    ^very nice!

order placed & deposit paid for a grey DSG R - it was a pretty hard deal to thrash out with the dealer...

he strung me the old line about the exact car/spec I wanted was NOT in WA, (on saturday) so they would have to factor transport from over east into the deal. Dont get me wrong, I'm quite happy with the deal - $500 cheaper than what I paid is what I really wanted, but in the grand scheme of things its chicken feed really.

I said to him in an email yesterday - now that my car is actually in WA, I assume delivery can take place much quicker than the 4 weeks quoted on saturday? All he replied with was - I will keep you informed on the delivery time..
I searched the VIN & it showed the car was delivered by ship to Fremantle/Perth on the 8th June.
