Hi guys, I am also waiting for my TDI. At what stage did you get the vin numbers? I'm also concerned about the recent price reduction. I ordered 3 month ago at the old price, the new price saves almost 3k and most of us won't get our cars for another couple of months.

Hi Davefonzi, I just got it last week, which took awhile. hope you get yours too. i got a fleet discount of 4k at time of order so i'm pretty happy with mine considering i added all options except the alarm. what colour did you go for? ours might be coming at the same time since we're both in adelaide?

Thanks for the info. I went for reflex silver with driver assist and sunroof. what did you get? I negotiated about 3.5k off the price so I'm pretty happy. Did your vin come in the mail or did you call up for it?

I got the limestone grey with DA, sunroof, leather seats, and bi-xenons. I emailed my dealer and it took him a month to reply me with the VIN as he says he didn't have it earlier when the car was still in production. which dealer did you deal with? mine threw in boot liner and rubber mats to seal the deal.

Got mine at Hawthorn, you? When are you expecting to take deliver?. Mine is late October now. Was meant to be early/mid October.

I ordered at Medindie, expecting delivery end of october/early november.

it takes forever! can't wait now! you should have a VIN by now to start tracking.

People think I'm a sucker waiting 6 months for a car. I think VW Aust greatly miscalculated the amount of people who wanted the options. It's lucky that I really like the car cos I couldn't see myself being this patient for a Hyundai.
