Pure White R- DSG, roof and driver assist. Decided against leather because I loved the Alcantara in the R36....Hope I made the right decision for me. The wait starts....

Pretty much the same spec as me! I got the same except in Limestone Grey. Didn't want the leather either as I love alcantara!

Took delivery of my supposed MY15 yesterday only to find it is an MY14...........(24km on clock)

Ok, so I just spoke to the dealer and yes, it was meant to be a 2015 (as per contract) but is a 2014 (most apologetic - sounded sincere, who knows!). It has 22km.

Nice one. All going well, I'm in luck. There is one in my spec. not too far away, so my dealer is endeavouring to organise a swap. If not, it will be the looooong wait until Feb/Mar.

Who'd you buy through in the end 2MCM? Look after you on price? Good to see the R is in high demand and waits are common (mines been 2.5 months for a pure white with DSG, leather and DAP, boat docked Monday so should have her in 2 weeks)>

I have a long term relationship with Burwin VW and they eventually came to the party with a reasonable price. Sadly I don't get fleet, so my numbers are a bit higher.

MY15 Comfortline wagon arrived today!

Ordered 18/7, arrived 3/10. Reasonably happy with that given the lack of stock around.

First new car for me, and I'm very pleased!

My Golf R (build week 3 is on the Manon which is on its way to Port Elizabeth S Africa. Due in at Port Kembla on the 12/11/14. Eta to me is about 2 weeks following! !!
