OBDeleven killed Lane Assist

Help please I have 2018 golf Alltrack with lane assist. Saw new OBDeleven one click app Extended lane assist & traffic jam assist so paid 400 credits! Now lane assist doesn’t work at all!
Can’t turn on says error on dash and now this function is currently unavailable. It’s the best feature and it’s stuffed and gone.. anyone have any advice OBDeleven messages said offline till tomorrow.

Well it is Sunday even in Europe

Reverse the App and how come it cost 400 credits Highest Ive seen are 100.. Could have done it with coding and not cost anything WHat does that App actually do or did it just look good so you thought you would have a play

It extends Lane assist to 15 seconds to 60 Seconds & enables traffic jam assist. Sounded like a good app & don’t have 400 credits, so unsure can just reverse. Yes 400 credits is most expensive app yet. If I was guaranteed reserving would fix I’d pay and try and get credits refunded. Now I have no cruise control either, it’s ****.

So buy some more and reverse it.. Usually fixes what you did Wouldnt think it was sensibly safe to extend that for that long. Would give you too long on your phone and you might have an accident because of it You should have bought a Tesla if you want car to do the driving

Thanks for replying. Do you think deactivating with put my previous Lane Assist back to normal? Can it be that easy?

Plugged the OBDeleven in and this app only has active, so that doesn’t help, seems very stupid. So I wonder if I pressed activate, it’ll probably take the 400 credits and still not work. It seemed to work on others cars on the link you sent.

I don't use OBDeleven for coding (I use carscanner pro instead) but it appears that OBDeleven has a back-up function. I'm hoping that you took a back-up of the coding prior to starting any coding, as outlined in the FAQs on their website. If so, you should be able to revert back to the original coding.

I'm not across the intricacies of OBDeleven, however, as I used different software as noted above.

Unfortunately I was too impatient and forgot about doing backup. That link all sounds too complicated, that’s why I liked OBDeleven, simple one click except for some reason they don’t let you deactivate like other OBDeleven apps.

I’ll take it to a VW computer specialist at Northside Euros and hope they can reset. I’ve heard nothing from OBDeleven as it’s not in Australia. Lesson learnt. Thanks for your help.

It's interesting that OBDeleven is doing lane assist time and TJA, as these are not just coding changes; they involve uploading parameters to the module. A backup of the unit beforehand may not be able to return it to its original state.

Anyone with ODIS or VCP should be able to re-upload the parameters for the Golf
