    Thanks all for the feedback!

I do find it bizarre however that my 2007 Commodore Omega ($38k) had voice controlled bluetooth as standard yet my 2014 Golf GTI ($46k) does not have voice control even as an option??
What about control on the MFD? Is phonebook access only available via the Discover Nav display now?

Phone access is a big thing for me, as are the interior seats (this is probably the most important) followed by the Discover Nav. I'm not really going to get a good feel for what the new highline leather seats are like without a few hours in the car at least, which I won't get on a test drive. Frustrating!

I agree that the Golf 7 Wagon looks leaps and bounds better than the 6, especially with the xenons and LED DRLs!

These Golf wagons are pretty big. I've been looking at Passat wagons (just bought one) and only realised the one I was looking over was a Golf when I sat in it and noticed the throttle wasn't hinged to the floor...and the dash was different. Boot is same volume as the Passat but I don't think they are as wide in the rear seat. DSG only as well so would have to be the wife's car if I got one.
    Looking for:- RS4 B7 Avant.
Current:- Amarok V6 Sportline; Mazda CX-9 Azami AWD
Previous - Mk 6 R manual; Mk 7 R manual; Passat 130 TDi Wagon. Mk 7.5 Wolfsburg Wagon.

Will it be available in manual though?

Would have prefered an AWD octavia RS wagon - the back seat of the golf is too small. But as a second car, it'd be a hoot!

Yes I'd buy it at the drop of hat if it came in manual.

They're bringing the golf r hatch out in a manual in Oz soon aren't they? If so I can't see why they wouldn't also bring the wagon out in a manual.

Lets face it the Golf R Wagon will be DSG and hopefully Skoda will get an option to make a Octavia RS AWD Wagon other than the Scout ....... dreaming!

Our dealer has a manual demo just arrived this week. I'm not sure if anyone on here has one yet, I think they might. Mine is either still on a boat or in country somewhere.

Word is we won't even get the wagon never mind in manual.
