If it mutes the radio it does not have voice control installed.....VDUB...
Guys,
Having problems getting my voice dialing to work. Pressing the VOICE button on the receiver or the steering wheel only mutes my radio..
No help menu or anything else pops up on the display. Any help?
I'm connected via bluetooth on a HTC One (android).

1 month check up with my Mk7 110TDI yesterday, got told the same thing. They must have done something though, rattle is on holidays for now. (Clip is now August it seems?)
Update: My rattle happens between 1600-2000rpm, most obvious when accelerating, and only when the engine is warmed up.

just dropped off our mk7 for a "piece of mind" check for a few days - fixing mis aligned boot , replacing wipers (leave greasy mark on windshield) , assessing poor radio reception - and observed / assessing the wastegate rattle noise. Heres hoping we get results.
FYI the noise is directly relative to partial throttle when backing off. Slow driving under load (up hill or car parks etc) or backing off slightly under accelration give the "pinging" sounding rattle noise. Thank god I could get the service bloke to hear and confirm it.
Just to quote myself
Picked up car today - there is a replacement clip for wastegate and firmware update for the radio, both will be fixed once the bits arrive.
The wipers apparently have been replaced , I'll leave that and see.
The other thing was the boot lining up - the guys stated they fixed it but there is a good 10mm or so rise on the left hand side vs the right. It almost appears to of been repaired , and not properly. Anyone dealt with this kind of thing before ?
Hi all,
Have had a 103TSI Highline for about a week; after owning a Mk6 118TSI Comfortline. (Just registered, but been reading the boards since before buying the Mk6 a few years ago).
Positive observations so far:
* The fuel consumption is very good
* The sound system is better than the stock standard one in the Mk6
* It is very quiet
* It is quite responsive (although still running it in so not revving it too hard)
* Happy with quality of the cabin
Less positive observations:
* I haven't been able to get the rear mirror to rotate down beyond the 'factor standard' setting when putting car into reverse. Will try following the manual instruction's again soon.
* Radio reception in Sydney less than ideal.
* It would have been good if they had linked the SatNav speed limits with the speed warning function on the MFD.
Question:
* When I click the ">|" or "|<" buttons on the steering wheel - it takes me back to the first programmed radio station no matter which one of the programmed stations I'm actually on. Further presses of these buttons move the highlighted station in the correct direction, but the station doesn't change. I've tried other combinations and no different unless I specifically choose "Audio" in the MFD and navigate through this instead. Any suggestions?
Other:
* So far no noticeable wastegate rattle (and haven't checked oil consumption over the first 300k and hasn't been wet so no opportunity to test whether wiper leaves a smear or not).
The wastegate clips another poster mentioned. Are these clips (of which I'm not sure what that is but anyways...) coming to Aus soon and can be fitted/replaced on all vehicles if requested?
Or is this just a specific issue to that posters car.
Also for the wiper part yeah I think mine to a less than ideal wipe. Tend to streak water over the window rather than cleanly clear it away but not 100% sure yet. Haven't driven in rain much and been paying attention at the time.
