I think my golf has the dreaded wastegate rattle issue. Occurs between 2-3000 rpm when accelerating slowly. Any updates from anyone who's had it fixed at all? I really dread going back and dealing with the dealer.
Just an update on the wastegate: took it to the dealer today. They acknowledged it and have booked me in the first week of September to get the clip installed. Fingers crossed it totally eliminates the noise!
I have only one very minor annoyance with my brand new Golf 7- the radio. I can't seem to have the am presets on the same menu as the fm presets, works in my Passat but not the new Golf. I have to press the radio button to change band. Very minor issue though the rest of the car is brilliant. Has anyone been able to get both am radio presets and fm radio preset on the same presets favoutites menu?

The side mirrors are too small. But I will live witn it.
If anyone is interested - I received my Golf Comfortline 90 TSI with a DA pack and DSG 2 weeks ago.
I have travelled 430km so far and fuel consumption is sitting at 15.5km per litre with a range estimated to be 850km.
I am really happy with this result - especially with a tight motor !
The car is a dream to drive - the only hassle is a slight pause on initial acceleration, which I knew about when I test drove it.

Mine sitting on 6.3 for 90TSI DSG Comfortline.
So what sort of driving should be done on running in? And for how many kms?
Owners manual is a good starting point. Lots of other info about features that many people don't notice for years.
this thread would be a good starting point. Lots of other threads too (oil usage, etc)
