This has been mentioned before but jsut bringing it up incase it helps people. For thsoe whinging on bluetooth it doesn't display artist art via iphone you can purchase a MDI Cable from ebay. Just lookup Golf Mk7 MDI and WORLDWIDE sellers and it will show.
Only about 1-3 vendors if I recall.

This MDI cable once attached to iphone (older socket 4) and plugged into center console at the bottom where the AUX/USB is will display album art. Or maybe the glove box but I forgot which.

Another question from my side an earlier poster mentioned Drive Profile Selection ECO mode etc etc.

Thats an OPTION you can select for $$ when you get the car isn't it? I ask because I don't notice this function on my MK7 comfortline. Unless I'm blind....

You might want to check your car, cause from what I've read and seen in my 103, the Australia Mk7 90 or 103 do not have MDI. Happy to be corrected! My 103tsi only has USB and Aux in the centre console as well as SD in the glovebox (and SD works a treat for album art).

Nauend you are likely 100% correct. Funny because I swear I saw on this site somebody else referring to the MDI cable and it worked for them. Anyways yes upon revisiting the image of the MDI cable I bought on ebay I sincerely doubt the MK7's sold here have an MDI slot.

Its all USB and SD slots pretty sure.

Anyways which raises the next question. I'm not a fan of having to use an SD card for music frankly. Is there a USB - iPhone item that can be bought that translates the artist art onto the media unit?

Or a USB to MDI adapter perhaps.

hey guys looking at a new 90tsi comfortline for my wife , is there anything regarding dsg etc that I should be worried about or is it all hit and miss..

awesome thanks , test drove one today was really happy until we got back to the dealership and some business manager or whatever had a power trip and wanted to start yelling and stuff .... simply walked out

the best bit was " we don't need to sell one to you anyway it doesn't bother us" yet the whole process the actual salesman was telling us how they need to make budget or sell a certain amount today ...
