I know most of you would be running 98, but what is the official recommendation on the inside of the fuel flap?

The reason I ask is I have the car on a car allowance through work and will be getting a fuel card. I don't think companies restrict the fuel type these days with more and more cars recommending premium but I have heard of some that do. I just need to let them know so when they apply for my fuel card they don't restrict it to 91.
My R is salary sacrificed and comes with a fuel card. The scheme favours BP but I'm not restricted on fuel type. I have an allowance based on km (which isn't enough when you're having fun).

    Cheers

Spoke to the fleet manager of my new company and she confirmed that there is no restriction on fuel type so 98 it is

I work for one of those said fleet companies, and it's highly unusual for any customer to restrict fuel types on a fuel card on personal (salary sacrifice) leases and car allowance situations. Tool of trade/company cars where the vehicle selection is set by the company is another story though - It's very common.

Interesting that you mentioned that the scheme favours BP. Is that because they offer further discounts on BP, or that's just what's offered?

The MotorCharge card has a BP logo on it. I don't appear to get discounts. In fact, if I want the Virgin air miles, I have to buy the fuel on my own card and then claim it back!!

I know it works in Shell stations and my closest station (Caltex) doesn't carry 98 so the BP (1.1km away) is where I usually end up anyway as I drive past it twice a day!

    Hi guys,

I am trying to change by rear brake pads and can't seem to work out how to remove the brake callipers.

The calliper seems to have an allen key bolt but doesn't fit either a 6mm or 8mm Allen key.

    Am I missing something here?

The fronts where straight forward and just have a normal hex bolt.

    I have an R wagon.

Noticed this on a UK forum R orders being delayed, wonder if this will be a problem in OZ
