All unconfirmed for now, though sounds like there is some consistency to the rumour. Just have to wait for the formal communication. If the limited release is true, I imagine they will go quick.

Ah OK. After staring at pictures all day I've decided the Golf Wagon's just don't do it for me. Crisis averted lol

Don't know about the GTI but the Mk7 R rides better on 19s than the Mk6 R did on 18s. I just leave mine in normal mode for the suspension. Sport is too niggly and comfort is just not needed. People reckoned the Mk6 R was a better ride than the Mk6 GTI.
    Looking for:- RS4 B7 Avant.
Current:- Amarok V6 Sportline; Mazda CX-9 Azami AWD
Previous - Mk 6 R manual; Mk 7 R manual; Passat 130 TDi Wagon. Mk 7.5 Wolfsburg Wagon.

hmm I beg to differ - I reckon my GTI rides nicer than my brother's R (and my other brother's R36 wagon for that matter).

They do have 19s though so that might be a factor.

    Hi

Last night on nightshift I was thinking I've might of stuffed up with the personal plates I've ordered for our new Mk7 R .
The plate reads WKDR20 ,is the R20 part more suited to the Mk6 R . Or am I over thinking it or I under thought it ? .
Anyway looking forward getting the R in mid May .

    Cheers
    Mal

In QLD I think that is a $2000 plate? I would make sure YOU are happy with it. Ask some people that you know aren't the brightest light-bulbs if you are worried about it being misinterpreted.

    MYMK7R is available.
    Or what about WRKD7R.
