I don't believe so. I don't recall seeing it on the list of "consumables". They should theoretically last for years and years.
I'd love to know what makes them break. Mine was a mystery, but it did do it immediately (as in minutes) after a stage 3 turbo going in.. I'm going with fouling.
What do you guys think of something like this?? Best Exhaust - Supersprint VW Golf mk7 R 2.0 TFSI centre pipe 771813
They are sold and installed locally here in the ACT and are bolt up.
I love the sound of the R, just not a fan of the soundaktor. I have changed the mode to individual on my R so the soundaktor is actually livable but it makes the car sound a lot more sedate from in the cabin now.
Do you think the removal of the resonator will make it a lot louder?
What are all the 7R owners out there using as their 'Individual' setting and why?
Will be interesting to see how people have it set-up and the reasons behind it!

I wouldn't...
Milltek or forget it... (and there's nothing wrong with forgetting it)...
How about this??!! Looks promising

And it works out around $3.7K shipped to AU for full exhaust.

Which part? The Milltek or forget it, or the nothing wrong with forgetting it?
If the former, I wouldn't butcher a car with bits and pieces (my view). I'd prefer to go the whole solution or just leave it as is. Minor performance mods are like getting half a vasectomy.
Just my view of course!...
Edit: and yes I know not everybody can afford the full systems etc, but if you can't afford $3.5k for an exhaust, you shouldn't be wasting $1k on part of an exhaust.
Not saying that's what's going on in your case at all, I'm just saying if you can't afford/don't want to spend the $$$ to do the whole thing - you shouldn't to something suboptimal. It's pretty damn good how it is already (the latter part of what I said). Put that $1k towards a set of coilovers. Far more joy to be had there in my view...
Cheers.
