Picked up my new fully loaded Lapiz blue R, last Wednesday and very happy.
I was under the impression the factory leather seats were suppose to be the carbon look type, mine are just plain (as previous mk6 gti) but with R logo. Anyone else experience this ?

That sounds about right.... I've seen a few and they are all plain black. Pretty good quality, but i would recommend leather treatments at least once every 6 months.. Get the mothers/meguairs diy stuff, very easy to keep it in top shape.Originally Posted by jacs

Yep, all Oz delivered cars have the black leather (if you optioned leather opposed to cloth of course).

Sounds like usual APR boasting. The numbers look a bit optimistic for a stage 1 (I presume this is engine numbers rather than at the wheels).

Guy uses a hub dyno for the APR Australia tuning profiles.
It does read slightly higher than a rolling road dyno but is more consistant because you don't get any slip from the tyres on a metal roller especially if you get a big boost surge or make big power.
They have been using this style of dyno for a couple of years now.
