Thanks Andrew! Tint a car recommended the Formula 1, how you find the colour match between the front and back windows after the tint?

has anyone noticed the brake rotors are a tad smaller than the mk6 r / mk5 r32? 340mm as opposed to 345mm.

i wonder if the brake pads are any different...

But mk5 gti / r32 / pre sep09 built mk6 gti and mk6 r all use the same rear pads.

I have had a look at ecs and they dont have any aftermarket pads listed for the audo s3 8v (which has identical brakes, engine, drivetrain, etc to the mk7 r) yet.

For anyone with a MK7 Golf R (thats interested), there's a GroupBuy going on for RevoZport Front lip.

RRP is $1100US plus delivery, GroupBuy pricing is $949AUD delivered to Melbourne.

    This is the lip:

    Thx.

But if i want to go with BBK kit again I will likely choose Stoptech 355mm kit with black ST40 calipers.

The replacement parts are so easy to source and priced well inc delivery (pads, rotor rings, bleed screws, new pistons, everything!) from zeckhausen. Easy to diy too (with proper tools).

VwR rotor rings alone cost >$1k i believe and getting replacement parts seems restricted from local dealers only.

I currently use stoptech 328mm kit with stoptech street performance pads (rated at 1200 degrees F, similar to ferodo ds2500). I havent had any fade in any of the 10-20 mnt track sessions i have done.
