Not much judging by your sales pitch

Agreed though - the Talledagas, particularly in black were popular but I don't see the Cadiz trading anywhere near as well.

The Pretorias are a much nicer wheel - I'd fit a set. But so far the only ones I've seen online are 2,799 on sale. Euros.

Does anyone know why the golf R has a claimed economy of 7.1 while the S3 has 6.9? Does this mean the golf R will be subject to LCT??

No idea why the difference - but LCT is now applied on vehicles over $60k

Hence my great price of $60300. No LCT FTW!

On the S3, it's 6.9 ltr/100km on the S-tronic (DSG) and 7.0 ltr/100km on the manual, so the 7.1 ltr/100km is manual or DSG Golf R?

And are the weight of the Golf R and S3 the same?

Aerodynamics probably play a part for the fuel consumption. Youd think it wouldnt make a difference but for .1 of a difference it would!

If you bought the car for $60,400 for example you would only be paying LCT on $84, not the whole amount. If the car is slightly over the LCT threshold then the LCT isn't going to be relatively large compared to say ticking a few options, or bargaining a better discount. Plus then you can tell your mates that you officially own a Luxury car

It could well be the 19inch wheels on the Golf. Maybe a reason the S3 doesn't offer a 19inch option.
