Thanks, was advised not to replace the water pump unless it was leaking.
Ended up getting the oil changed (previous owner got it changed at Kmart/Mycar in May, completely wrong oil used) + haldex service, there was some gunk in the screen filter, have definitely felt the rear engage more in some full throttle applications.
Now I'm just waiting on clutch to go so I can upgrade it and get a stage 1
Besides the MIB2 radio, is there anything significant that an MY16 car has over an earlier MY14/15 one? I plan to do a MIB2.5 retrofit at some stage, so the easier to upgrade, the better.
I'm specifically on the lookout for a stock tornado red or candy white DSG R with low kms.
