Yeah the RB on the 6's looked great. Lapiz looks awesome in the showrooms but I'm not sure what'll be like after a few months in my carport :p

What is surprising is the Spielburgs - I didn't like them at all at first but they have definitely grown on me quite a bit.

I actually love the Lapiz colour. Everyone I know who has seen my car all comment about how good the colour is.
It was hard to keep clean though. But after having it coated with Opti-coat Pro+, it doesn't get that dirty now and the colour pops even more. I absolutely love it.

Also re the Spielburgs, I am probably the only one here that prefers them over the Pretorias (on the Lapiz) anyway. The Spielburgs suit more on the Lapiz than Pretorias (in my opinion). I actually really like the Spielburgs and they look good when the car is on the move as well.

Hey guys, it’s the new year so i can finally buy my dream car. Im so excited.
I am going to get a golf R MY18 in indium grey with DA package. No sunroof.
The online build puts it over $62k but i don’t want pay anything like that.

What kind of figure should i be aiming for?

This is my second Golf from the dealership. Unfortunately being in townsville we only have one dealership. .

I'd expect about 55-58k. I'd also be looking at ordering from interstate if you know exactly what you want.

So I just had my first wash of my car since I had it coated with Opti-Coat +.
Washing and drying were so easy, the water just beads off! I have to get myself a blower so I can do touchless drying.

Anyways, here are some picks of my R after the wash:

$1400 and then $55 for each wheel.
So far, I would say it is well worth the money. My car used to get very dirty very quickly. Now, the dirt doesn't stick and doesn't get as dirty as before.

Cheers, that look is without wax as well! Just a simple snow foam and 2 bucket wash.

Car looks great. Opticoat makes the maintenance way easier. I've had mine done and for 3.5yrs still looks amazing. I can't believe the prices these days though or I got insane bargain, $600 including wheels too.

Just ordered an Indium Grey Golf R 7.5 DSG with DAP.
Should be here in a couple of weeks.

Nearly brought the Wolfsburg for the Dynaudio but TBO not a fan of the wheels.
I cannot wait until it gets here.
