Basically if they can get that wirelessly working with my phone, that'd be great.

Android Auto will put the Google maps on your display.

How does one get the speed limit data on the dash sat nav screen, can only see it on main screen?

I'd like to know this too. I've had a squiz at mine this morning, since my earlier post, and found that it displays in the centre console sat nav page, which I hadn't looked at before today. Haven't found a way to get it on the dash which would be preferable.

Contrary to what someone else said above, it is definitely camera based in my car and came up as 60 on the way past the school before 8 am, and 40 on the way back after 8 am when the flashing signs were on. Also came up at the unrealistic 10 kph in the car park at work. Also, at start up there is no speed limit displayed until you drive past a speed sign. It's a camera. Look for it above your rear vision mirror.

Just noticed to have a wolfie so have safety pack. Can you send me a quick photo of your sensors on top of rear view mirror, want to see if mine match to indicate if there's a camera present.

I stole this off the web but it's the deep set pyramid looking thing. I think. Other sensors are for auto lights. I think.

doesn't look like what I have, I have two sensors. Looks like speed limit data coming off maps for me then.

Incidentally how easy/costly is it to update maps on this car?

The camera on the windscreen is for the lane assistance. That is not letting you stray from your marked lane. Afaik in Oz the car doesn't not read speed signs. The speed limit you see is map based.

Toggle, I believe APR have tuned out for the 7.5R.

If you're in Melbourne I'd probably recommend underground performance. Great rep, price and custom tune.

I'd probably go stage 1 tune with panel filter and inlet. That's best bang for buck.

It will void your warranty though.

I have an APR Stage 1 hi torque/98 ron tune. Did it at about 1900ks. Now has 2500ks. Warranty gone but what the heck. Turns a very quick car into a missile. And I am used to powerful cars. All else stock. Like said elsewhere, I don't do LC, track or bounce off the limiter.

No, no numbers. I don't want the car with low klms on a dyno. It is night and day difference and I am too old to worry about variable dyno numbers.

Interested in your experiences with this tune, any negatives? I was leaning more towards an Australian specific tune, my independent mechanic/tuner uses AVA Performance Tunes (QLD based) who seem to have a good reputation. Only issue is independent can't currently get around encryption on MK7.5 with his equipment (may be a some months away before they release an update). This may swing me to APR, although again not sure if they have a specific Australian tune.

Did you do any other mods at the same time? Consider doing turbo inlet at the same time, hear this adds 10-15hp?

Also I'm finding my 7.5R to be a bit sluggish off the line (might be turbo lag, throttle response, not sure), did you find after tune this improved a lot?
