How are the stock speakers in it? Better than mk7 or same same?

Lapiz Blue really is a great colour! Can't wait for mine next month!

Yeah, that Lapiz blue is what I want as well. Those Spielburgs are growing on me..

The stock speakers I would say are the same as Mark 7 Golf (we have a MY16 Highline also)
Would have loved DynaAudio but not worth IMO the extra $ to pay for a wolfy.

Need to investigate adding a stand alone SubWoofer in the back - anyone have any suggestions for doing this (DYI) without spending a fortune - say $500-$600?

So - confirmed with my dealer if I want Lapiz Blue with all options, I'll be waiting till April unless someone swaps something out. Pretty disappointing, but guess it's my own fault for trying to negotiate on price (although the response times of my lease company leave a lot to be desired).
I think I'll just wait until next year and see what comes up - April is getting pretty close to MY19, and you just know that the Dynaudio will eventually be an option.

Is this for standard or for Wolfsburg?
I was thinking the same re dynaudio. But now not sure if they will option it.
They didn't with the mk7 versions and if they did option it then it will raise the cost of the car more.

Time will tell of course. I'm pissed I'm going to miss out but alas, if I was going to wait till mid next year then I might as well wait for the mk8

This was for the non Wolfsburg version - but I've been told they'll try and source one sooner. I can option a white R by December if I want.

It's my own fault for sitting on it really.

I'm sure a dealership will have a blue one sooner. Maybe try ringing around?
