Because the new engine is just so good & efficient out of the box, there is not quite as many gains from intake / exhaust and even race gas.

There are gains, but just not as big as on cars where the stock components are lacking (Mk6 Golf R intake for example).

Tuned today.... Stage 1 plus CAI.
Transformed car!!! Holy crap. Fastest car I've ever driven. LAUNCH in the dry is essentially the G-force ride in dreamworld.... Still driving it and getting the feel for it.

Hey mate, really keen to know 2 things if/when possible;

Has your oil temperature increased? i.e. the readout you get from Driving Info I am pretty sure it is called.
If you happen to have any sort of OBD/Torque interface interested to know what the boost has been increased too.

I would anticipate lower engine oil temp, but higher turbo temp. Thats a guess though.

Oil temp has pretty much remained the same. That is comparing hard driving while stock and hard driving after tune.
Don't have boost readout unfortunately.
