Hi Guys...

This weekend is the big one…finally bit the bullet and upgrade the 10+ year old audi with the one and only….
A lot of people don't like the colour but it looks completely diff in person, the dark shade really works with the wheels and tail lights, cannot wait till saturday morning and the long drive from Brisbane to Townsville, flights booked last night, lets do this.

Vehicle is a demo but got an amazing deal on it…..didnt paid for any of the options and any on-roads, so quite stoked….5 year warranty aswell and a few other protection packages free of cost…..thanks to my bargaining skills haha

I asked my dealer whether he could confirm this, and he advised there would be no revision in power from 206kW. I'm a little surprised that the previous alignment with the Audi S3 apppears to have ended with the MY2015 release. Most forum members couldn't care less about this, particularly those who will purchase a Stage 1 ECU upgrade, which will provide a sizable lift in performance, regardless of the starting base.

Given the way a tune works (modifies AFRs to lean the engine out somewhat where it is safe to do so, as well as modifying timing/advance and boost), you may well see a significant improvement in economy after tuning.

Interesting to note that of all the R's currently being built of on their way to Aus seem to rarely be specced with a sunroof... Seems strange to me

^ True Pbj, mine is on a boat due early October and its specc'ed with leather and DA only (can't see much value in a sunroof downunder)
