Me and a colleague picked up our Rs from Robina Volkswagen earlier this evening. His is black with leather and driver assist and mine is white standard spec. There was also a limestone grey in the showroom with everything on it. It was pretty cool to see three sitting together in the showroom.

Anyone looking for a top deal and even better service would be well advised to deal with Michael Goldsworthy, the Sales Manager who made our buying experience incredibly easy. Top bloke.

It has given me time to find the wheels I like. Have ordered a set of 19x8.5" Ultraleggera's in matt graphite silver - due to arrive pretty much the same time as the car is ready. My detailer is fully booked for now so opticoat happens first week of June

Great choice - similar look to the Pretorias at a much lower price and lighter weight. Would love some pics for the wheel thread when you're up and running.

Ultraleggas are very nice (I like the matte black but the matt graphite sliver sounds good). I'm going to powdercoat my Cadiz Rims gloss black first and see how that goes (have seen pics of a NW Lapiz with this done and it looked good, very similar to the Mk6 Talles).

RD, my preferred detailer cant get me for in protections/Opticoat until July! (could you PM me who you use? would like to get it done by mid to late June as I've got a few weeks off then and can do without the car for a few days)
