The UK does not have competitive pricing for the Golf at all.

I don't know about you, but the M135i is cheaper than the current Golf R, and in many ways a far better car.

The BMW 125i is cheaper than the GTI

I hope VW Australia continues with their competitive pricing in Australia rather than follow the UK lead.

I would assume mk7 GTI would come in at very similar pricing and with more standard options representing a price cut over mk6. Too much new competition to do anything otherwise..
