i thought the mk7 gti was coming with bigger brakes - i.e. more than 312mm?
according to the rvd1 site, it is.
I think there is also a plant in Germany with code P.

If they wont release the performance pack they certainly wont be getting my order
It appears that the Golf GTI for the North American market is likely to come from Mexico. Mexico apparently has a free trade agreement with the USA. It could well be a possibility that the AUS version Golf GTI could come from Mexico. This may mean no proper LSD - Power Pack, nor DCC as I think the North American/Mexican versions of the Golf GTI may run Monroe dampers, rather than the Sachs units.
Cheers .

US versions will definitely come from Mexico and they will get the LSD. Everything I've read suggests ours will be made in Germany like the mk6 GTI and all the other mk7 variants

I assume there will be differences in what's offered here, some things may get bundled into one 'driver assistance pack' like the standard Golf, which is why I've ticked some of the extra assistance items.

Golf7, does someone know what was on the boat in terms of spec
Even from just a visual, i.e. is Nav Pro on all of them (or standard in other words), what are the stock wheels (17s or 18s), do any have the GTI logo on the brake calipers (denoting PP) etc
