I'm sure the dealers are hanging out for the Mk7.5 update which is due mid-year. Expect some deals to clear the Mk7.0 stock coming up in the next few months.

Hi guys have signed subject to finance a 2013 GTI with 75,000 on the dial. I've started hearing some horror stories? Should I get existended warranty? Or find one with less kms? It was a really good price
hi guys,
I'm planning to upgrade my 40th exhaust and wondering whether the 40th OEM exhaust can be fitted into a normal GTi?
My mate that is currently driving a normal GTi and he is planning to buy it off from me.
thanks in advance!
Depends on what stories you have heard and what there pertaining to. Is it a manual or dsg? What's the price?
its averaged 25k a year which is close to national average so it will depend on service history. Going to need more info before any advice can be dished out. Lot of Knowledge on here but you need to be a littl more specific. It's like asking what fish tastes good. So many options.
You'd get close to golf R territory for that money I imagine, at similar km and age
I assume your talking an early mk7 gti being in the mk7 forum.
There are cheaper mk7 gti out there with dsg and leather In Melb. There a pp for 33k
LibraR: You will get a mk 6 r for that but a mk7 r is still around 40k up.

I think the DSG oil was due to be changed at the 60k service? Can you confirm that was done?
If not, get it changed just to be safe, it'll set you back around $600-$800. Otherwise, I think the wet clutch DSGs are almost bulletproof if serviced correctly.
Ps. I know you said dealer did a "DSG service" for you free. What did that entail? I can't imagine them changing the oil for you free of charge given the cost normally involved?
