Update, been advised dealers can place orders for June delivery. Other vehicles arriving earlier however unable to confirm earlier delivery date until order placed.
Thanks,
i have made a number of calls to QLD dealers so far and got the standard "first half 2014" response. Given it's now 2014 i expected a bit more clarity by now. I'll respond if i get more info from dealers.

Is this for GTI PP? Has pricing been confirmed? Mine gave an estimate of a maximum of ~$5000 over the standard GTI.
Wasn't the price announce last year in September? They said it was $47 990 (plus dealer devlivery and ORC) for GTI with PP.
Which makes it $4000 more than standard GTI with DSG.
For the extra you get:
- performance pack (diff, bigger brakes, slightly more power). Worth ~$1500 based on its cost as a standalone option overseas
- bi-xenon headlights ($2,150)
- LED tail lights (?? Maybe about $500)
- half alcantara trim (~$1500)
- 19" Santiago wheels (~$1500)
- tint (~$400?)
So it's worth it, particularly I think for the performance pack and the xenons. Its just a shame they aren't offering a manual version (hence I'm not buying one).
IMO the 19" wheels are far too big for a car of this size. This is the main reason i didn't wait. Would have only been ~1k more for me, i optioned leather to lose the tartan trim
9N3 Polo GTI - 91 MkII GTI - 16 B8 Passat 132tsi Comfortline
Past - 14 MkVII GTI, 9n3 Polo GTI, Mk5 Golf GTI, Mk6 Golf 77tsi, Mk6 Golf 90tsi, Mk2 Golf GTI, Mk3 Golf VR6.
Wanted: Mk1 GTI white or black
anyone know if the 18" wheels will fit over the bigger brakes?
Just starting to look into replacing my Polo Gti with the Golf and want Alcantara and Bi Xenons.
The diff is nice to have but i don't want 19" wheels. 1) for the ride 2) cost of 19" rubber
