Ok so there comes a time when a lower profile is needed. But just how low can I go, without it looking ridiculous. Will it affect ride handling, different damper settings etc? Perhaps someone could recommend a professional place who don't change astronomical rates. I live in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks Fury.

Any modifications on to your wheels, suspension that is outside the manufacturer's spec will have effects on your ride quality/handling/etc.
In terms of how low you can go it all depends on how much you want to trade off from comfort and safety for looks.
Good luck buddy

GTI PP Mk7
My grandma used to say...
Seeing a post on the GolfMK7 forums re: when to change gears in the manual GTI raised my eyebrows.
GOLFMK7 - VW GTI MKVII Forum / VW Golf R Forum / VW Golf MKVII Forum - View Single Post - What's the ideal shift point in the mk7 GTI?
It made me feel like I'm no where near the most aggressive GTI driver going around....
When do you guys typically change gears in your manuals?
MY16 MK7 Golf GTI
- Manual - Sunroof - Folding Mirrors - Lock/Unlock Chirp - 4x Indicator Flash - Traffic - MK7.5 LED Tail Lights with Sweeping Indicators - Dynablink Sweeping mirror LEDs - White LED's on rear rego plate -
I always drive around 3-4k for general driving. I don't see it necessary to drive any higher than that unless you are trying to floor it.

Hey guys,
In the market for a Mk7 GTI through novated lease. I've pretty much gone as far as having the finance papers infront of me to sign. However a news article from early 2015 regarding the Golf R Touch, where VW was quoted as saying the active info display would come to Golf models by end of 2016 has made me have second thoughts.
We haven't really seen anything concrete this year and my local dealer has shown me the list of changes for the MY17 GTI model and the active info display isn't there. Would it be fair to assume that even if VW did announce they are introducing it, that it would be most likely for the MY18 revision/Mk8 in 2019?
• Frameless interior rear vision mirror
• Dual / 3 zone climate control air /conditioner
• Sport digital instrument display Configurable to display Oil Temperature, Boost pressure, G-Meter, Lap timer now features in car menu of the Infotainment system for GTI and R.
• Deletion of the glovebox lock
• An increase of R.R.P. of $350.00.
