That image looks familiar. Rick Harrison hates being on the wrong end of a bad deal, but hates it even more if Corey goes and buys anything expensive without his permission (eg. speed boat and hot air baloon).
I knew you were kidding, but this subject is a pet issue for me. I used to think that auto manufacturers must get a better deal when buying older tyre models, not old stock as the tyres are current production, but surely they call the shots with tyre makers with their huge buying power. Tyre makers love the marketing hype, and boast the connection of tyre models with prestige car brands/models. They definitely share the same bed, so the consumer ultimately has to accept whatever tyre brand/model is supplied.
Aston Martin also fit Bridgestone RE050A's to their Vantage models, so this issue has no pricing boundaries.
Get one of these brushes or something similar

And this cleaner
https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p..._wheel_cleaner
Spray the cleaner wait till it turns purple.
Then a quick in and out of each spoke hole and then spray with the hose or pressure cleaner to rinse. A few more in and outs if it has been a while since the last clean.
Approx 1 min of work for each wheel + 2-3 mins waiting time for each wheel for the cleaner to do its magic.
5-10 mins in total for all 4 wheels if you time the cleaning and waiting time correctly.
If you do it every week then you usually don't need to use the brush at all. Just the cleaner.
You can also buy the clean in 5L container. Works out cheaper than some of the cheap brands at supercheapauto when you buy in bulk.

Okay... You got me. I'm really lazy with washing my car, and especially it was cold in the winter. I got it washed by people every week or two. the people I go to actually do a better job at washing my than myself. 25 dollars (I supply them with the shampoo) and no scratch so far. Oh and my tyres/wheels look brand spanking new everytime I go.

Do anyone have any recommendations for seat covers to suit the GTI, in particular throw over ones?
Need to fit something during the week while driving the car to and from work
^ I'd be actually quite interested in finding something easy to fit/remove for when I go rock climbing and end up covered in chalk!
Just put an order on the APR intake. Gonna take 5 weeks to reach Australia, oh the fun wait...
