    ^ exactly what Adam said.

I honestly would not be worried about this aspect, as has been said don't play if you can't pay. It'd be a foolhardy customer who tried to deny the presence of a tune on a warranty claim if queried - may as well be open about things and let the dealer go into bat for you rather than be caught in a lie later.

Anyone had any luck with bike carriers on the back of a MK7 GTI?

    Or how about roof racks?

Actually when the stock binary is flashed back in by your APR dealer, then it also has the stock checksum. And the read / rewrite flash counter function also restores the original settings.

Summary, when flashed back to stock by your APR dealer, then it is 100% as it was before tuning.

World wide this has been tested in a few countries without issues when making warranty claims.

I went and had the rattle sorted out last week, they said it was the left side front passenger door. So far, no more rattle at low RPM.

Wow, that's impressive Guy. And so the resetting of checksum and flash counter is undetectable by VW?

Yes donweather, in every test so far conducted. The binary & checksum bit is actually the easier task.

Because of the worldwide turbo charger "Service Campaign" / "
Recall" on the faulty turbo chargers, it has already been tested a few times in the field.

Gee I wish this was more widely advertised on your site as I would have got an APR tune for sure then.
