I personally wouldn't use 95 unless 98 was unavailable
Gti owners - what fuel do you put in the tank? When I picked mine up last week the sales person told me to always use 95, but on the fuel flap is says minimum of 95. Any of you using 98?

I will be using BP 98 only.

Any reason why it was suggested to use 95 ?

Well, that would be interesting in NZ. 98 is only available from selected BP outlets. 91 is standard here with 95 if you need premium. So, 9 out of 10 service stations would not stock fuel of this high RON.
