Sounds like I got a good deal then -same price but with bi-xenons and tint Not sure how much the boot liner and tailgate protector go for, though...
Its not the best price, but its easy to get a Golf Wagon up to such prices :\
An Octavia 103 Wagon with those features (plus xenons, sound system and 8inch nav) is $41830.

Mind you the Golf wagon does look pretty sharp.

I recon the bi-xenons are the single best option I put on my golf. If I had to choose only one option for the golf it would be the bi-xenons!
Love my lights

I did have a look at the Skoda and it is quite nice. But I liked the look of the Golf. I especially like the integration into the steering wheel of the cruise control. The Skoda had four stalks on the column and that seemed a bit messy to me. In the end I didn't want to be wishing that I'd bought the Golf if I was in the Skoda.
When I starting negotiating I always new that I'd probably pay a bit more than I should. I'm not very good at it and also I just can't be bothered. It sounds like the best price may have been about 1-1.5K less or thereabouts. I did say to him at one stage that if he have it to me for 40K I'd sign right now. He said I'd never get it for that price anywhere .
I was also willing to pay a bit more get it now rather than wait forever. That's the fear-of-loss that they put into you
Cheers!
You know, I wonder how much the fear-of-loss is actually true. The dealers are very good at saying things like if you want such-and-such it could take months. Do you think that they scope out who would be willing to wait (and let them wait) to save more available cars for people that would otherwise walk away?
Hi guys,
I’m in the market for a 90TSI Comfortline Wagon with metallic paint & mats.
I’ve been offered $31,700 without pushing at all. How much further can I go?
RRP driveaway is about $33,800.
Cheers

TDI HL110 + R-Line + Xenons for June delivery = $40K on the dot.
After 4 quotes since the VW supported price was dropped i found driveway price is RRP - $4k ( or 10% ).
Jeff, good price, i'm also in the market for a TDI in central Vic, which dealer did you go through?
