    Mk7.5 reversing guide lines

Just a question that someone may know. I have the static green reversing guide lines on the golf. Can they be changed (vcds or obd11) to be the dynamic turning guide lines like in my passat? Cheers.

This is a frustration of mine.. hoping it's possible, however am sure it likely programmed with the steering wheel and as the lock to lock ratio is shorter it might be an issue? Hoping someone with more knowledge chimes in

I have a feeling it might be hardware and the dynamic lines turn with the steering wheel. On the web, there seems to be mention of a highline RVC and lowline RVC...

When the picture of m car comes up on the Centre screen with the parking sensors, the yellow swept path curves both front and rear when I turn the steering wheel, so don’t really see why the camera can’t do it.

well i had a look at the RVC on my golf in the equipment list. It comes up as "With rear view camera system (type 1)". on my passat which has the moving guidlines it is "With rear view camera system (type 2)". So i think it is hardware dependant.

That's a bummer. A base level i30 has dynamic lines, but not my 2018 GTI.
Still the GTI parks itself, so I guess that's something.

The camera is different and also the loom.... you have to run a new loom to the BCD.

2019 Golf R specs states: "Rear View Camera (RVC) with static guidance lines"

Golf R drivers don;t even need a reverse camera let alone bendy lines.

Save the bendy lines for the i30s
