MK7.5 GTI to R rear valance swap

Hey guys, new forum user here.

I am really interested in running a quad tip exhaust on my 2018 GTI. I was wondering if you could just do a straight swap from the GTI rear valance to an R one? Also, does anyone have any links to where I could buy one? An aftermarket one would suffice also.

Have you rung the VW parts desk to see what they charge? There must be some at wreckers too.

MK 7 definitely wont fit, MK7.5 is the same bumper for all (from 110TSI to R) with just the valance as the differentiator between the models.

I'd recommend you go to VW Spare parts though and ask them. Tip - take a VIN from a Mk7.5 Golf R with you so they can look it up on the system.

I tried everywhere (2nd hand) to get a Mk7.5 GTI valance for the 110TSI and ended up buying from VW spare parts last week. Cost $350, which was cheaper than any aftermarket ones.
