Especially love that it gets the carport...
On my stock 2018 golf gti 7.5 the DSG farts and burbles and pops are louder in sports mode or when you are giving it a good go in manual mode. The sounds are definitely louder and more noticeable on the outside then it is on the inside.
I have plans to make farts and pops louder in the future via some sort of exhaust mod (not sure which route to go yet) or maybe even some sort of tune like a apr stage 2 to make the pops and crackles heaps louder. But only after my warranty runs out in 3 years.
You'll get them in the GTI and R without a res delete, but apparently only after switching from Normal to Race after start-up or to Individual with Race sound. 'Word has it the ECU resets the 2nd exhaust valves after shutdown regardless of the mode. And yes, a res delete will release a little more sound, but nothing like a proper sports muffler swap.
2017 - Golf R 7.5 - Blue - DSG - Proper Roof - DAP - Res' delete - Dynaudio delete
2008 - Mazda 2 - (Maybe my first child scared me a bit) -1998 - Wrx (modded up to but not including forged pistons)
1988 - Corolla TwinCam - (couldn't insure a 323 Turbo)
1967 - Tonka Tip Truck - Red with 2 inch plastic rims and a massive sand scoop.
One for the city dwellers with DSG. 'Noticed in traffic yesterday that light pressure on the brake while at the lights (with stop/start deactivated) leaves the clutch engaged. I knew this because the revs were up slightly and the moment I lift off the car moves instantly without the expected engagement delay. When you press the brake more firmly, idle revs decrease and there's the delay when you release, meaning the clutch was disconnected.
Could make a difference to the long term service costs for the DSG ?

Gone : 2004 Bora V6 4Motion (few klms, all options)

If you press lightly on brake pedal to stop at lights (with auto stop engaged) you can activate the green park brake but not turn the engine off. The revs will also drop back indicating the clutches have disengaged. Push a harder on the brake and the engine will stop unless a/c overloaded etc.
Has anyone got the stock codes for a VW golf R 7.5 2018 manual with all options
