IKR! Small things that gets you crazy and keep thinking about. (Have been trying to squeeze out this very info from my dealer but alas) Without infotainment pack you won't have the active info display? Or have I been mislead all these while?

A fan of the conventional dials eh? I pulled the trigger on the info pack though.

I didn't opt for the infotainment pack either. No complaints about the sound system or the infotainment system. But hey, I don't know what I'm missing .

Thanks . I'm not an audiophile and no, didn't have MK7. To me, the sound quality is good.

The performance range is now shown on the VW Australia website. No info on the Wolfsburg edition R that I could find though.
Looking at the specifications it says the R comes with Lapiz Blue as opposed to the Atlantic Blue on the regular Golf range. I thought the R I saw in the showroom was Atlantic Blue and not Lapiz Blue, either way it looked awesome!

I can definitely say it is Lapiz Blue as it's what I ordered

Just read that the R doesn't have fog lights, prob due to the increased air intake. Will miss the fog lights.
Also the MK7 never had them as well. Never noticed this before.
Oh well.

Or the Mk6 R, or the Mk5 R32. The Rs have never had foglights.
