Yeah, the R looks better now but still not as good as the GTI.
The front grille looks meaner and better on the 7.5 R compared to the GTI, but the Red line at the front and how it wraps around the lights on the GTI looks so much better. The R needs a distinct colour on the outside, it shouldn't be the same as the other models (silver).
Also the silver stitching in the interior and the Silver brake pads look bland compared to the Red on the GTI.
I prefer the rims though of the R and can't wait to drive the thing!
Love the car just wish the had a better colour than silver![]()

Agree
Wolf was at least that.
All dealers I spoke to in Vic, 11 of them have told me the same thing. They get 1-2 of the 3 fully optioned. And are sold to their pref customers already. If you order, your looking before April. 2018.
The standard sounds good, but dynaudio is much better. It wasn't worth the wait for me. Not crazy about the options, so not worth the wait and cost just for the audio.
Audio upgrade later if I want. Place in qld sells the kit.
So when I get the car, road trip.
Mine is black with driver and roof plus extras for $58,500
