Can anyone share with me via PM (if they don't want to share here) their prices for the 7.5 R?
Spoke with my dealership (who I have bought a few cars off) and the quote I received was wayyyy too much and I was advised that they can't drop much.
I just don't know what price I can realistically ask for, is 60k for full specd DSG R realistic or do I need to revise my budget? I won't be leasing or financing.

    Any help/advice will be appreciated.

    Cheers

Bloody hell that looks NICE. WOULD BE better again if the trim pieces around the air vents, Discover Pro unit, air con controls and lid to the little storage area under the air con were all piano black like in the Highline, rather than the gloss grey as in the Comfortline and Trendline, but hey, STILL AWESOME!! Congrats!!!!! I am SO envious!!

Check the Wolfsburg thread. Someone there managed to get a Wolfie hatch for a little over $62k (good going I thought), so a fully loaded R should be under that by some margin. Or get a Wolfie (if prepared to wait a while).

"The stereo rocks' - yep - thanks for rubbing that into the "R" buyers.

While we're here, though, has anyone heard the poverty-pack speakers that are getting forced on the R ? There not being much interest in the Dynaudio Debacle might mean the standard kit isn't too shabby after all.

    2017 - Golf R 7.5 - Blue - DSG - Proper Roof - DAP - Res' delete - Dynaudio delete
2008 - Mazda 2 - (Maybe my first child scared me a bit) -1998 - Wrx (modded up to but not including forged pistons)
    1988 - Corolla TwinCam - (couldn't insure a 323 Turbo)
1967 - Tonka Tip Truck - Red with 2 inch plastic rims and a massive sand scoop.

Yeah, saw that price. Very good going if you ask me!
I agree I SHOULD be able get the R under 60 because of the price he got for the Wolfie but I doubt many will budge.
I was told January at the earliest for Wolfie, too long a wait if you ask me!
Also the story speakers on the sounded fine for me. I would prefer dynaudio but yeah, think I'll stick with the R if it doesn't work out Price and delivery wise.

Yeah, they sound good to me, didn't pump then too loud but they did sound good.

For a Wolfie that is amazing! Did it have a sunroof added? I couldn't get it down that far for mine with everything in it.

Yeah, even through my leasing company the prices I am getting on the Wolfie are pretty average - there's bugger all discounting.

Whereas a standard R's they are much more prepared to haggle.
