MK 7.5 GTI pricing

Hey all,

I'm back in the market looking at the 7.5 GTI - 5 door DSG. Is anyone out there getting a deal better than the current 'special offer' pricing of $45.5k? best offer thus far is just under $43k. I'm keen on it and will probably just get the car as is without options - unless anyone thinks there is absolutely a must have option??

When does the Mk8 or next model come out? I assuming i will have some time before a newer update is released to replace this one?

DAP is worth considering. Don't worry about anything else. Lux pack deletes the cool tartan seats. Infotainment looks cool, but easy to live without.

Under 43 isn't bad. MK8 start production mid 2019, so probably early 2020 for AU?

Thanks mate. I pulled the trigger over the weekend for a bare bones 5 dr with DSG. The only option i got 'thrown' in was window tint. Happy with the result particularly as I didn't spend hours haggling with one dealer, then driving to another etc. The sales guy was easy to deal with and the dealership was close to home. Delivery in May / June.

There wasn't a model on water with DAP and the colour i wanted, and i also wanted a 2018 build.
