    Mats for the Mk7 Golf

I picked up a 90tsi for my rep about a month ago, which didn't have mats supplied. I saw some GTi mats hanging up in the dealership but was in too much of a hurry to look into it. My wife has a GTI Mk7 with plain mats supplied and I was thinking of getting her the GTI ones and putting the plain ones in the reps car.

Can you get Mk7 GTI RHD mats aftermarket yet or better to just go with dealer rip off ones?

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, the search function gave me no joy...

    Cheers,
    Neil

    Golf R mats

Quick question re mats- what has everyone been doing? Buying aftermarket or getting them thrown in from vw as part of the deal? Are the dealer ones any good?

Golf R/GTI should come with front/rear floor mats standard (quality is fine but nothing special and no logos)

Correct.. figured I'd wear out the stock mats and then have a look at something like the Matcraft ones - both the R and GTI ones have looked pretty good.

Hmm. I have seen the mat craft and custom car mats sites. I wonder how good these are compared to the dealer ones supplied?

They are better quality than the factory mats.

I know Lucas was happy, and I'd trust his word. Ok he has just confirmed this.
