Hi guys getting my car 2 weeks later and I score some Vw rubber mat for her. Just wondering how do you take the hanger out as there are no instruction? Do you use scissor? If yes where do you cut form? Will be great if you can provide me how it look after you trim it.

Dont quite follow what you mean Why not ask the salesman Mine were already put in it when I got it..

Cant be too hard can it Usually the hangers are stuck into the locating hole in the mats and just pull out.

If they are genuine VW mats they wont need trimming If not you have been had

    Rubber mats?

    Hello!

Just picked up the new GTI last week and was thinking of getting some rubber mats to help protect against the carpet, especially from wet/muddy days!

Wondering if anyone has either the VW ones or any recommended after market ones that you can recommend?

    Thanks!

VW OEM rubber mats, I currently have them in my MK7 and the MK6 had them. Could not find ones to fit correctly after market which ended up costing me more in the long run. There are Monster Mats getting thrown around in some other forum from the US but from what I can see are just as costly after shipping and only left hand drive.

How much are OEM mats these days?

I've always just made sure they are included with the car (usually at no cost). 100% worth the money since they fit properly and do what they are supposed to.
